The Wrekin Riders!

Congratulation to Craig, Derek and Helen for passing their minibus test.

25.5.10 - It was great to see the back page article in the Shropshire Star announcing Wrekin Riders as one of the top 10 sports clubs in Britain.  Click here for the link.   Well done everyone for making the club what it is!!!!

Anyone wishing to attend a Coaching session must complete a Consent form and bring it with you on the day.

Next Race:  5th September @ Rotherham

Coach pick up times for these races will be 8.00 am at the Cross Keys Pub, Hadley and 8.15 am at Telford bus station. PROMPT.

Please note that the coach will now be £5 per person as we have to pay for coach trips this year. Thank you for your support.

(This year's regional championship fees have been set at £7 for experts and £5 for novices to pay for the trophies!)

Anyone wishing to attend a Regional Race must complete a new 2010/2011 Membership form (along with fee of £5) and bring it with you on the day.  We also advise our members to apply for British Cycling Membership - bronze is free and silver is at an affordable cost to you - especially for regular racers.

Click here for the Membership form

The club is affiliated to British Cycling (the governing body for the sport and the only Cycling Club in the area to become a 'Go-Ride' Club).

Anyone is welcome to come along and take part in club events. We recommend that you try riding around the track a few times before racing. The track is open all the time. You can have a go at actual racing before joining the club, but you will need to get a consent form completed if you are under 16. Better still, bring your parents along.
